OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University sophomore cross country runner Laura Neufarth has qualified for the NCAA Championship meet by virtue of her tremendous performance at Saturday's Great Lakes Regional Championship in Bloomington, Indiana.

Neufarth, a native of Centerville, Ohio, finished fifth at the regional meet with a time of 20:55.07 in the 6K race, helping the RedHawks to an eighth place team finish.

The NCAA National Championship Meet takes place on Nov. 19 at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.
