OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University women's cross country team has climbed one spot in the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Great Lakes Region rankings as announced on Monday, Oct. 14.

The RedHawks, now ranked eighth in the region, most recently won the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational over Toledo and Bowling Green and previously won the All-Ohio Championship over 44 Ohio institutions.

Laura Neufarth, a sophomore, has paced the RedHawks, and won the Falcon Invite with a time of 17:37.97. Jennie Stoll as provided senior leadership by example, finishing the BG race in eighth place at 18:09.97. Kelsey McHugh, Rebekah Hollander and Sarah Henize made up the remainder of the RedHawk scoring last Saturday.

The Miami women will next run for the MAC Championship when they travel to Central Michigan University on Saturday, Oct. 27.
