GREAT RANK IN THE GREAT LAKES: In the latest NCAA women's cross country rankings, Miami was rated ninth in the Great Lakes Region after their third place finish at the All-Ohio Championship on Saturday. This is the third consecutive week that the RedHawks are rated in the top-ten for the Great Lakes Region. The Red and White will try to keep their ranking in the Great Lakes Region along with test their ability against the rest of the country when they face the 97-team field at the Pre-National Invitational.
"This will be a great test to see how we stack up against the rest of the country considering we will all be running on the same course," said head coach Richard Ceronie.
CHECKING OUT THE COMPETITION: The Pre-Nationals include nearly all of the top teams in the entire nation. Miami placed 15th out of 37 schools in last years Pre-Nationals down at Furman University in Greenville, S.C. Junior Andrea Kremer led the way with an 18th-place finish.
