Ready to Race Again: After 19 days off, the RedHawks follow the long white line again on Friday at the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. The RedHawks are the race's defending champions, having bested 38 other schools at last year's meet, also hosted by Ohio Wesleyan. The race will be held at the Methodist Theological School near OWU's campus. Directions and a course map, as well as other information about the race, can be found on the Web at http://bishops.owu.edu/alohxc04.html.

Recapping Miami's Last Time Out: The RedHawks won the Cedarville Invitational at John Bryan State Park on Sept. 18 over 14 other schools. Jennie Stoll won the race, breaking teammate Carol Eckerly's two-race string of being the first RedHawk across the line. This time, Eckerly was the second Miamian across the line, separated by Cedarville's Samantha Maat. Stoll won the race in 17:53.94 and was recognized as the Mid-American Conference's Runner of the Week for her performance.

Ranked RedHawks: Miami's fast start has received regional recognition as the RedHawks are ranked 10th in the Great Lakes regional poll released Oct. 3. The complete poll is in the PDF version of the release.
