OXFORD, Ohio - Miami Univeristy's Laura Neufarth (Centerville, Ohio- Centerville) has earned recognition as the Mid-American Conference Runner of the Week for the second-straight time after a great performance over this past weekend.

Neufarth, a sophomore transfer from Ohio State, has won each of her first three meets as a RedHawk after finishing first out of all collegiate runners at the Cedarville Invitational on Saturday with a time of 18:08.68. She helped Miami finish first out of 19 teams in Saturday's meet. The RedHawks have finished first, second and first in their first three meets of the 2007 season.

Miami will next run at the All-Ohio Championships on Oct. 5 in Delaware, Ohio.
