Kremer Wins MAC Runner Of The Week

Cleveland, Ohio - Sophomore Andrea Kremer (Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard) was named Mid-American Conference Women's Runner of the Week after finishing first at the Miami Invitational Saturday on the Western Course.
The RedHawks' top runner in every race dating back to the beginning of last season, Kremer covered the 5,000 meters in 18:04, 11 seconds faster than the runner-up. Her performance helped Miami win the meet--the eighth time it has done so in the 17-year year history of the event--knocking off No. 24 Michigan in the process.
Saturday's win marks the second in Kremer's career, as she was victorious at the 2000 Miami Fall Classic.
The team will next compete Sept. 22 at the Miami Fall Classic.
