OXFORD, Ohio - MAC preseason poll voters predicted a sixth-place MAC finish for the women's cross country team without three-time all-American Andrea Kremer, who graduated in 2004. Kelly Ardelean (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville) will be the most experienced returner, as the RedHawk women lose four of the seven competitors to run in the 2003 MAC Championships. A junior, Ardelean finished 39th overall and fourth among Miami entrants. Abbey Reeser (Circleville, Ohio/Circleville) and Jen Taylor (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) also return from Miami's MAC squad. Eight newcomers appear on the 2004 roster, including seven freshmen. The 2004 MAC Cross Country Championships will be held Oct. 30 at the University of Toledo. Below are the men's and women's polls. The MAC releases only the top six teams in each poll. MAC Women's XC Preseason Poll
