BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Miami University women's cross country team finished eighth at the NCAA Division I Women's Great Lakes Cross Country Regional Meet hosted by Indiana University on Saturday.

The RedHawks' 284 team points placed them 21 points behind seventh place Akron and just one point ahead of ninth-place Ball State.

Laura Neufarth, once again, paced Miami with a fifth-place finish and a time of 20:44.07 in the 8K race. Jennie Stoll finished next for MU with a time of 22:16.51, good for 47th place. Kelsey McHugh came in 65th place with a time of 22:44.34. Rebekah Hollander had a time of 22:59.19, finishing 78th, while Mia Fiegelist was 92nd with a time of 23:07.18. Sarah Henize was 112th, ending in 23:22.86. Jenna Kruse rounded out the RedHawk runners with a time of 25:11.46 and a 191st place finish.

Michigan State won the meet with a score of 60, while Michigan finished second with 63 points.
