MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Miami University women's cross country team finished in third place at the MAC Championships at Central Michigan University on Saturday.

The RedHawks' 77 points put them behind second-place Akron's 58 points, while Ohio University won the meet with 56 points.

Laura Neufarth made it 6-for-6 on the year, and was crowned the MAC individual champion with a time of 17:35.2. Jennie Stoll came in 11th place at 18:07.4, while Kelsey McHugh was 18th at 18:25.4. Rebekah Hollander was 20th win a time of 18:29.3 and Sarah Henize was 27th at 18:36.4. Mia Fiegelist and Rachel Patterson rounded out the Miami scoring with 48th and 52nd place finishes at 19:05.8 and 19:11.7, respectively.

Katie Lenahan and Jenna Kruse also ran for the RedHawks, finishing with times of 19:45.5 and 20:36.0.

Miami will next run at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship at Indiana University on November 10.
