Final Stats

The Miami women's cross country team placed 18th out of 38 teams in the 6OOO-Meter Blue race on Saturday at the 2002 Asics/Pacesetter Pre-National Invitational that featured 97 teams hosted by Indiana State University.

Junior Andrea Kremer (Indianapolis, IN/Bishop Chatard) finished with a time of 21:09 for 24th place to lead the RedHawks. Redshirt junior Kristen Fryburg (Dayton, OH/Kettering Alter) placed 78th for the RedHawks with a time of 21:53.

Brigham Young University won the Blue race and the University of North Carolina's Shalane Flanagan won the individual title in the Blue race with a time of 19:57.

Miami's next race comes when the RedHawks host the Mid-American Conference Championships in Oxford, Ohio on Nov. 2.
