DELAWARE, Ohio - The Miami University women's cross country team won the All-Ohio Championship on Friday afternoon on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University, defeating 11 other Division-I schools and a total of 44 Ohio-based teams.

The RedHawks owned three top-10 spots in the 5K Division-I race, with sophomore Laura Neufarth winning her fourth meet of the season at 18:32.6. Freshman Rachel Patterson and senior Jennie Stoll finished eighth and ninth with times of 19:09.1 and 19:11.3, respectively.

Also earning points for Miami were junior Rebekah Hollander and sophomore Kelsey McHugh with times of 19:24.2 and 19:44.4, respectively, good for 15th and 21st place.

Senior Mia Fiegelist ended in 48th place at 21:17.3, while freshman Katie Lenahan ran a 21:58.5 for 61st place.

Miami nipped MAC-foe Ohio by one point, 54-55, while the University of Cincinnati came in third with 71 points.

The Miami women have now won three of four meets on the season and will travel to the Bowling Green Invitational next Saturday, Oct. 13 with the gun sounding at 10:45 a.m.
