Final Stats

The Miami Women's cross country team won their second consecutive Miami Fall Classic on Saturday at Western Campus Course when their top seven runners placed in the first eleven at the 5,000-meter race.

Junior Andrea Kremer (Indianapolis, IN/Bishop Chatard) led the RedHawks with a second-place finish and a time of 17:28.80, which ranks her time ninth on the Western Campus Course all-time mark and breaks her own time that she set at the Miami Invitational two weeks ago by nine seconds for best Miami all-time finish.

Kremer was followed by junior Kristen Fryburg (Dayton, OH/Kettering Alter), freshman Katy Pryor (New Castle, IN/New Castle), and junior Kylee Studer (Edgerton, OH/Edgerton) to give the RedHawks the second, third, fourth, and fifth place finishers. Fryburg finished with a time of 18:02.12, while Pryor crossed the line in 18:10.40 and Studer rounded out the top-five with a time of 18:20.65.

The next three runners for Miami stuck together like the first four and finished the race in ninth, tenth, and eleventh place. Sophomore Sarah Bertolini (Canton, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas), freshman Kelly Ardelean (Strongsville, OH/Strongsville), and junior Sara Edwards (Centerville, Ohio/Kettering Alter) finished with times of 18:32.45, 18:34.21 and 18:51.57 respectively.

University of Akron freshman Adriana Zulucka won the eighth annual race with a time of 17:21.30, which ranks fifth all-time at the Western Campus Course.

Akron earned second-place behind Miami with 42 points while the University of Buffalo had 68 points for third-place and Cumberland College finished with 120 point for last place.
