Final Stats

DAYTON, Ohio--Turning in a time of 18:20, junior Laura Neufarth (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) recorded a first-place finish at the Dayton Flyer 5K Challenge on Saturday afternoon to spur the Miami University women's cross country team to a first-place finish among the six-team field.

Freshman Rachel Patterson (Rochester, Mich./Adams) was the next RedHawk across the finish line, clocking a time of 18:51 to finish sixth. Senior Jennie Stoll (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee) finished in 19:04 to place ninth, while senior Sarah Henize and freshman Julianna Roche recorded times of 19:06 to finish 10th and 11th, respectively

The RedHawks finished with a team score of 37, besting second-place Cincinnati by 13 points. Xavier, Dayton, Morehead State and Wright State rounded out the team finishes, respectively.
