Following a four-game loss to Bowling Green and a four-game win over Northern Illinois last week, senior middle hitter Carli Reihman earned Mid-American Conference Volleyball East Division Player of the Week, the conference announced today. Reihman was also named East Division Player of the Week on Oct. 1.

Reihman continued her success with two double-double efforts over the weekend. Against Bowling Green, Reihman notched 20 kills, her first 20-kill match of the season, and 15 digs and she also averaged 5.1 points per game. In Miami's four-game win over Northern Illinois, Reihman notched another double-double with 16 kills and 10 digs, while adding three blocks. For the weekend, Reihman hit .414, averaged 4.5 kpg and 3.1 dpg.

Miami hosts two important MAC games this weekend when the RedHawks entertain Kent State at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, before welcoming No. 19 Ohio for a 7 p.m. match on Saturday, Nov. 3. Saturday's match against No. 19 Ohio also marks senior night for Miami, where Reihman and senior outside hitter Jeanna Staun will be honored.
