CLEVELAND - Coming off solid all-around performances in wins over No. 17 Ohio and Kent State, Miami University senior middle hitter Carli Reihman earned Mid-American Conference East Division Volleyball Player of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday.

Reihman was an instrumental part of Miami's four-game win over No. 17 Ohio, snapping Ohio's 52-match Mid-American Conference regular season winning streak. Reihman collected nine kills, four service aces, four digs, and six blocks against the nationally- ranked Bobcats. In the RedHawks' match against Kent State, Reihman posted 11 kills, while hitting at a .455 clip, and served up three more aces.

For the weekend, Reihman averaged 2.86 kills per game, 1.43 digs per game, 1.00 service aces per game and 1.00 block per game.

This is Reihman's third MAC East Divison Player of the Week honor of her career, with the last occurring on Aug. 28, 2006.
