Day 3 - Jeanna Staun

Bom dia! (Hello!) It is our third day here in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and it was jam packed with things to do from 8 a.m. to 0 a.m.-that is midnight. In Brazil, they use military time. Anyhow, we awoke and had a nice breakfast and we were soon on our large tour bus again to head back towards the beautiful country club known as Campinas. At "Sociedade Hipica de Campinas" we introduced ourselves to a large group of young girls and played quads for a short while. Soon after, an older age group of girls came in, and together we participated in competitive drills and peppered with one another. These girls were great! They were excited to practice and eager to learn and the majority knew a few words in English, which was nice.

After a good, sweaty practice we were ready for lunch. We ate at the country club's restaurant where the waiters served our meal in three courses: the first course being salad, the next pasta, and the third was meat. It was especially nice because we got to eat outside in the fresh air; however, Carli and Emily were flipping out because they were allergic to the bees that were hovering around our food. Flipping out aside, the food was great, most of us ate too much of it, and we slowly walked back to our bus to sleep on the way back to our "Sonotel".
