BUFFALO, N.Y.-Playing in its last match of the regular season, Miami University's volleyball team finally found the road magic it had been searching for all along, downing the University at Buffalo Bulls, 3-1.

Miami got off to a fast start, claiming the first game, 30-20, before Buffalo evened the match at a game apiece with a 30-25 win in the second game. The RedHawks finished strong, handling the Bulls, 30-24, in the third game and clinching its first road win of the season with a 30-16 win in the deciding game.

Leading the RedHawks were sophomores Angie Zent and Tara Buroker. Zent knocked down a match-high 18 kills, while Buroker pounded out 14 kills with an impressive .542 attack percentage. Buroker also led the Red and White with 13 digs. Junior Susan Poll finished with nine kills, two solo blocks and three block assists.

The win improved Miami's record to 11-19 and 6-12 in the MAC, while Buffalo slid to 9-23 and 1-17 in the conference.
