After Saint Louis went ahead 11-9, Miami went on a 7-3 run keyed by kills from Schroeder and Atteberry. Several RedHawk service errors kept Saint Louis in the match, as they finally took the lead at 20-19. The teams traded points until Atteberry scored a service ace to tie the score at 23. An attack error by Hanks, followed by a kill from Megan Boken gave the Billikens the third set win 25-23.
