OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University women's track and field team will travel to the All-Ohio Championships at the University of Cincinnati this weekend.

With competition taking place on Friday and Saturday at Gettler Stadium on the UC campus, the RedHawks will face 11 Division-I squads including Akron, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Dayton, Kent State, Miami, Ohio, Ohio State, Toledo, Wright State, Xavier, Youngstown State.

Miami has several student-athletes that are ranked at or near the top of the field in their event and will look to carry that over into the competition.

Margarita Pogorelov enters the 100-meter dash as the second-fastest participant and is the fifth fastest in the 200-meters with a season-best of 24.64.

Amanda Mirochna and Katie Lenahan are both capable of finishing in the top-3 in the 800-meters, both with times under 2:17, while Mirochna is the highest seed in the 1500-meters with a best time of 4:35.52.

In the steeplechase, Jessica DeWitt's 11:26.17 is the second-fastest time heading into Saturday's competition. Rebekah Hollander is seeded third in the 5,000 meters and will look to improve on her time of 17:18.87.

Alexis Lape is the top seed in the 400-meter hurdles with an NCAA Regional qualifying time of 1:01.39.

In the field events, Kristina Bolterstein enters the high jump tied for the best mark this season by the meet participants, while Nicki Mitchell will look to score in the heptathlon.

Following the All-Ohio Championships, the RedHawks will travel to the Butler Invitational on Saturday, April 26.
