Oxford, Ohio - Miami University junior Alexis Lape has been named the Mid-American Conference women's track athlete of the week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Lape competed at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C., where she finished second among collegiate student-athletes in the 400-meter hurdles, running a personal-best of 1:01.30. She ended in sixth place in the 100-meter hurdles and helped the RedHawks to a fourth place finish in the 4X400-meter relay, running a 57.60 split.
