CLEVELAND - Sophomore Andrea Kremer (Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard) was honored Tuesday, Feb. 12 as Mid-American Conference Indoor Track and Field Female Athlete of the Week, marking the sixth time this academic year she has received a weekly accolade from the MAC. She also has been named Runner of the Week three times and Scholar-Athlete twice.

At the 11-team All-Ohio Championships on Saturday, Feb. 9, Kremer blew away the field in the 3,000, winning in a MAC-season-best time of 9:39.20, just 0.65 seconds off the school record and 1.2 seconds shy of the NCAA provisional qualifying standard. She also finished runner-up by less than a second in the mile to Cincinnati's Angie Kist with a 4:54.78 clocking, the best this season in the conference.

The RedHawks came in second at the meet, totaling 94 points to Bowling Green's 98.

Kremer and her teammates travel to Muncie, Ind. on Saturday, Feb. 16 for a tri-meet with the Cardinals and Western Michigan.
