Tuscaloosa, Ala. - Miami had two individuals place in the top 10 on the last day of competition at the Alabama Relays in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Sophomore Lauren Collins (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence Central) took seventh in the hammer throw with a heave of 151-5. It is her second top-10 finish at the meet as she also placed sixth in the shot put.

Finishing 10th in the hammer was senior Marie Mokosso (St. Paul, Minn./Mounds Views), who posted a mark of 148-8.

Sophomore Bernitta Johnson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./GAR Memorial) captured 15th in the triple jump, landing 39-2 1/4 away from the take-off strip.

Of the three RedHawk relays that ran on the final day, the 4x800 team of sophomore Jenny Korrison (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West), freshman Sarah Correll (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson), junior Kylee Studer (Edgerton, Ohio/Edgerton) and junior Sara Edwards (Centerville, Ohio/Kettering Alter) had the best showing, clocking a 9:17.31, good for fourth place. The 4x100 shuttle hurdle relay took seventh while the 4x100 crossed the finish line 15th.

The team stays a little closer to home this weekend, competing Saturday, March 30 at the Cincinnati Invitational.
