Final Stats

The Miami women's track and field team ended the Alabama Relays in third place out of 23 schools at the prestigious Alabama Relays in Tuscaloosa, Ala against some of the nation's top competition on Sunday.

The RedHawks earned their second first-place finish of the weekend when they placed first in the 4x1500-meter relay with a time of 19:10.83.

Miami placed second, behind Alabama, in the 4x100-meter relay, fourth in the 4x400-meter relay and fifth in the 4x800-meter relay on Sunday afternoon.

Overall, Miami placed one spot ahead of Mississippi, in fifth place with 27 points. Alabama, the host school, won the relays with 45 points.

The RedHawks will be traveling to Ball State in Muncie, Ind. on Saturday, March 29, to begin the MAC season.
