BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- For the second year in a row, Miami's women's indoor track and field team finished seventh at the MAC Championships. The RedHawks came away without an individual champion, but sophomore Andrea Kremer (Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard) did take runner-up in the 3,000.

Kremer was nipped at the finish line by Toledo's Briana Shook, 9:43.35 to 9:43.93, in the event. Both times broke the existing MAC meet record. In the mile, Kremer came in fifth with a 4:58.55 clocking.

Sophomore Lauren Collins placed third in the shot put with a mark of 47-11, while fellow sophomore field eventer Bernitta Johnson took sixth in the triple jump, leaping 39-3.

The only other RedHawk scorers on the second and final day of competition were sophomores Jennifer Caldwell and Erin Connolly, who finished fifth (8.74) and sixth (8.86), respectively, in the 60-meter hurdles.
