Final Stats

Miami's women's indoor track and field team received a good test at the non-team scoring; Ohio State Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio. Sophomore Tabitha Schwartz (Concord, Va./Appomatox) had the RedHawks only first-place finish in the pole vault.

Schwartz had a season-best height of 12.00 feet on the pole vault to beat her closest opponent by nearly seven inches.

Juniors Jenny Korrison (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West) and Andrea Kremer (Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard) each had second-place finishes for Miami. Korrison finished the 1,000-meter run in 3:01.67 as she was edged out by only a tenth of a second by Melissa Krueger of Bowling Green. Kremer also had a close finish as she lost by less than three tenths of a second in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:48.01.

Miami travels to the Kentucky Invitational in Lexington, Ky. next weekend.
