RedHawks Win 10 Events at Season-Opening Meet

Freshmen Walter, Wickware claim 60m dash, 800m run, respectively, in first collegiate meet

High School: Earned four varsity letters in track and field at Lehman High School under head coach Dwane Rowley ... served as team captain for two years ... went to the state championships all four years ... won the 400m dash and was the runner-up in the 100m and 200m dash at the 2010 state meet ... won the 400m again and won the 100m dash while taking second in the 200m at the 2011 state meet ... posted a personal-best time of 12.1 in 100m dash, 24.97 in the 200m dash and 56.4 in 400m dash ... led her team to a fourth-place finish at state in 2010 and sixth-place finish in 2011, recording all of her team's points both years ... also played four years of soccer as a striker, earning four varsity letters, while leading her team in scoring.
