2005-06: Ran both the hurdles and 200 meters during the indoor season ... ran season-best time in the 60 meters (9.60) at the Findlay Open ... clocked in with top 200-meter time (28.01) at the Bowling Green Invitational ... outdoors, competed in both the 100- and 400-meter hurdles ... top meet during the season was the Miami Invitational where she turned in top times in the 100-meter (16.15) and 400-meter (1:07.71) hurdles.

High School: Finished eighth in the 300 hurdles at the 2004 Ohio State Division III Championships with a best of 45.9 ... during 2005, qualified for the state meet in the 100 hurdles (15.63) and ran a leg on the second-place 4x400 relay ... won 12 varsity letters at CCD and was two-time league MVP.

Coach's Comment: "Sydney was one of the top-ranked returning 300 hurdlers in the state this year but unfortunately hit a hurdle and fell at the district meet and didn't qualify for to the Regionals. Regardless, she turned her attention to the other events she could excel at and made the most of those opportunities by going to state in two other events. That type of can-do attitude is going to serve her well at the Division I level."
