Indoors, was the runner-up in the shot put at the MAC Indoor Championships with a school-record heave of 15.26m/50-0.75 ... won the shot put at the Ball State Quadrangular with a toss of 14.24m/46-8.75 and was the runner-up at the Hoosier Hills Invitational (14.61m/47-11.25). High School: A four-year letterwinner in track at the Columbus School for Girls... was the state champion in the shot put in 2007 and 2008 and the runner-up in 2006... took fourth in the discus at the state meet in 2006 and 2007 and third in 2008... named all-district and all-region four times... a three-year selection to the all-conference and all-state teams... ranked as the 15th-best senior in the nation in the shot put and 34th in the discus with bests of 46-4 and 143-2, respectively... named Academic All-Ohio in 2006, 2007, and 2008.
