High School - Placed second in the discus and sixth in the shot put at the state meet as a junior ... finished third in the discus her senior year.

Ceronie’s Comments - “Marie had a great MAC meet and developed so very well in the hammer. Her fourth-place finish was certainly a big boost to our team, and she finished off with a seventh in the discus. There were only five athletes in the MAC who could score in more than one throwing event, so Marie is one of the elite of our conference.”
