High School: Earned four letters in track at Anna High School under coach Randy Locker ... competed mainly in the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 5-8.25 ... won the Ohio state championship in the high jump as a junior and senior (2008 and 2009), setting the state meet record in 2008 with her leap of 5-8.25 ... earned all-state honors as a freshman (2006), junior (2008) and senior (2009) ... also lettered four years in volleyball as a middle hitter ... helped lead volleyball team to the 2006 Division III Ohio state championship ... was volleyball team captain as a senior ... was a member of National Honor Society, serving as vice president, and was also the class valedictorian.
