High School: Earned three letters in cross country and a combined seven letters between indoor and outdoor track at Williamsville South HS ... served as team captain for each sport for three years under head coach Dan Syracuse ... recorded a three mile personal best of 18:37 and a 5K mark of 19:13 ... also posted personal bests of 10:36 in the 3K, 7:28 in the 2000m steeplechase and 3:05 in the 1000m ... won the Erie County Interscholastic Conference cross country title for Division II in 2009 ... was the Section IV 3000m champion in track ... a four-time state qualifier ... also played four years of softball as a pitcher, serving as captain three years, and three years of field hockey.
