Kim Dobler Class: Senior Hometown: Rocky River, Ohio High School: Rocky River Event: Cross Country/3,000-meter steeplechase

As a junior - Switched to the 3,000 steeplechase and placed 10th at the outdoor MAC meet ... one of Miami’s top academic student-athletes, earning a 4.0 GPA in several semesters.

As a sophomore - Ran the 400 hurdles, placing in numerous meets.

As a freshman - Ran the 400 hurdles, placing in numerous meets. High School - Ohio Division I state fifth-place finisher in the 300 hurdles with a best of 45.50.

Ceronie’s Comments - “Kim ran cross country for the first time last fall to prepare for her move to the 3,000 steeplechase. She had a good learning year and really put together a solid race at the MAC meet. I am hopeful that we will be able to build off that success this coming year.”

Personal - Daughter of Steve and Martie Dobler ... majoring in pre-medicine ... carries a 3.96 GPA ... honored as dean’s list student and with MAC Commissioner’s Award.
