2008-09: Recorded two season and career-bests in indoor competition at the GVSU Big Meet (02/14/09) with a 27.55s 200-meter run and a 43-3 weight throw... her weight throw efforts at GVSU earned her a top-five RedHawk indoor performance on the season, and both were career bests... finished in a season-fast time of 9.27s in the 60-meter hurdles, earning her a season-high seventh place... earned a career- and season-best indoor 300-meter run time of 45.09s at the Findlay Oiler Opener (12/06/08)... had four top-ten RedHawk performances in 2009 outdoor competition... two of the four came at the Stan Lyons Invitational (04/25/09) with a 14.95s 100-meter hurdles and a 3:48.61 4x400-meter relay finish with the team including Allen, Pogorelov and Clay... competed at the Billy Hayes Invitational (05/08/09) in the 4x100-meter relay with Pogorelov, Forconi and Turner, finishing in 48.26s, good for a top-five RedHawk outdoor performance for the season... led Miami in the javelin throw during the 2009 outdoor season with a season and career-long toss of 117-11 at the Miami Invitational (04/11/09).

2007-08: Indoors, saw limited action... ran a 28.45 200m at the Tom Wright Classic and had a 12.86m (38-11) toss in the weight throw... outdoors, competed primarily in the hammer throw... had a season best of 35.78m (117-5) at the Miami Team Challenge.

High School: Competed in track and field and basketball at Center Grove High School... sectional and regional champion in the 100-meter hurdles... ranked 10th in Indiana in the 100-meter hurdles... ran a personal best of 14.9 in the 100-meter hurdles... two-time state finalist... earned six varsity letters in two sports... named high school's Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Daughter of Kelli Rau and Brian DeWitz... participated in mission trips to Nicaragua, Tennessee, New Orleans and Minnesota... enjoys water skiing... father, Brian, played football at Indiana University... a Latin American studies major with a minor in marketing.
