Erin Connolly joins the Miami women's track and field coaching staff as a graduate assistant after completing a successful career as a member of the squad in 2004.
Last season, she won the 100-meter hurdles title at the Mid-American Conference Championships and earned a berth at the NCAA Regional Championships at Baton Rouge, La. At the indoor league meet, Connolly won a silver medal in the 60-meter hurdles and was named to the conference's second team.
As a junior, Connolly was the only RedHawk to earn first-team all-MAC honors in both indoor and outdoor track and field by winning gold in the 60-meter hurdles indoors and the 100-meter hurdles outdoors.
Connolly is a native of Springfield, Ohio, and graduated from Miami in 2004 with a degree in physical education. She is currently pursuing her master's degree.
