ITA Doubles-Day 2

EAST LANSING, Mich.--With a 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4 win over Michigan State's Ana Milosavljevic, sophomore Megan Martzolf advanced from qualifying to the singles main draw at the Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional on Friday.

Singles main-draw competition begins on Saturday and two other RedHawks - sophomore Anastasia Dracheva and freshman Stephanie Danesis - will be competing in the main draw.

Doubles main-draw action also began on Friday with Danesis and Martzolf posting an 8-2 win in the opening round over Drake's Sarah Plowman and Veronika Leszayova. Doubles main-draw competition will continue on Saturday and Miami has one other doubles team in the main draw in junior Brintney Larson and freshman Riekie Honiball.
