RICHMOND, Ky.--Miami University's women's tennis team won its fourth straight match to improve to 4-1 on the season with a 5-2 win against Eastern Tennessee State University (0-2) on Friday night in Richmond, Ky.

Behind wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, Miami got off to an early start picking up the doubles point. Freshmen Anastasia Dracheva and Megan Martzolf earned an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles, while freshman Sydnee Bridger and senior Leda Pesatova notched an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.

Miami captured wins in the first, second, fourth and sixth flights en route to the 5-2 win. Dracheva moved to 5-0 on the season at No. 1 singles with a 6-3, 6-4 win against ETSU's Yevgeniya Stupak. Sophomore Brintney Larson notched her fourth straight win at No. 2 singles, defeating ETSU's Tara Byrne 6-2, 6-4. Pesatova recorded Miami's most dominant singles win, downing Tara Sheets 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 singles. With the match in hand, Cara Wald won an 8-2 pro-set at No. 6 singles to boost the RedHawks' team score to 5-2.

Miami returns to action on Saturday, facing host Eastern Kentucky University at 2 p.m.
