COACH JOFFE'S COMMENTS: "In my view Stephanie is as good a recruit as any team secured for this year. She is bright, highly competitive, driven, talented, mature as well as popular with all students on campus. Not only did she secure victories over top players from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Boston College, Arkansas and Purdue during the fall, but her drive and attitude have bolstered her teammates."
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Revere High School in Akron... played No. 1 singles... served as a team captain as a senior... helped the Lady Minutemen to a third-place finish in the 2005 state tournament... they were conference champions all four seasons... finished second in the state in singles as a senior (Division I) and as a junior (Division II)... defeated current RedHawk teammate Laura Grace Mezher in the opening round of the 2007 tournament... was a part of the Division II state champion doubles team as a sophomore... qualified for the 2005 state tournament in singles as a freshman... a member of the National Honor Society and a four-year honor roll selection.
