OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University Varsity Synchronized Skating team announced today the renewal of its sponsorship by Anchor Hocking Glass Company after a year of support and enhancement of the Synchronized Skating program. Anchor Hocking and the Miami Synchronized Skating program continue a relationship that will enter its fifth year with the renewed contract.

The renewal agreement between Anchor Hocking and Miami is for one year with options for the 2002-03 season beginning in May, 2002. Anchor Hocking is a proud sponsor of the Miami synchronized skating program while at the same time promoting its trade name and product class to the skating community.

"We are very pleased to be sponsored again this year by Anchor Hocking," says Vicki Korn, head coach of the Miami Synchronized Skating team. "Now in our fifth year with Anchor Hocking, I can't think of a better group to be associated with."

The Miami Varsity Synchronized Skating team will kick off its 2001-02 season on Dec. 1-2 at the Dr. Richard Porter Classic in Ann Arbor, Mich.
