When the RedHawks travel to the U.S. National Championships March 4-6 in Minneapolis, Minn., two Miami University synchronized skating teams defend titles and another seeks the first in program history.
The RedHawk senior team is the defending national champion and tries to earn a sixth-straight ISU World Championship berth with a top-two finish at nationals. The RedHawk senior team first competes in the short program, scheduled for approximately 7:30 p.m. (ET) on Friday. Miami’s senior team concludes its stint at nationals on Saturday with the free skate competition, beginning at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Miami’s collegiate team has dominated the division and is the five-time defending national champion in search of the program’s 12th national title. The RedHawk collegiate team skates their free skate program on Saturday, beginning at approximately 6:15 p.m.
Miami’s junior team also looks for gold and would become the first Miami junior team to earn a spot on the podium by finishing among the top three in the nation. The junior team kicks things off for the RedHawks, skating in the short program competition on Thursday, which begins at approximately 7:30 p.m. They round out their national competition with the free skate event on Friday, beginning at approximately 9 p.m.

On Monday, all three teams performed their competition programs for the Miami and Oxford communities in their Nationals Exhibition Send-off.
