OXFORD -- The Miami University Senior and Collegiate Synchronized Skating Teams resume competition this weekend as they travel to Fraser, Michigan for the Midwestern Championships.

The teams will be competing to qualify for the United States National Championships which take place on Feb. 22-26 in Grand Rapids, Mich. Last season, the senior team brought home first place overall, capturing all nine first-place ordinals in both the short and long programs.

Following this weekend's performance the senior team will make its first overseas trip as it competes at the Spring Cup on Feb. 8-13 in Milan Italy.
