BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Miami University collegiate synchronized skating team won its first competition of the 2002-03 season this past weekend with a perfect score at the Falcon Challenge Cup. The RedHawks defeated the likes of Michigan, Western Michigan and Northern Michigan at the team competition.

In the synchronized-only competition the RedHawks scored first-place ordinals across the board to take first, while in the combined section they also took first with 108 points.
