OXFORD, Ohio - Dartmouth College won the U.S. Intercollegiate Figure Skating Team Championships at Goggin Ice Arena on Sunday, totaling 109 points over the two-day event to finish ahead of Delaware and Miami. With 58 1/2 points, Miami was just a half-point behind the Blue Hens for second place.

The three highlight events of Sunday morning's competition were the low, intermediate and high team maneuvers, all three of which the Big Green of Dartmouth won. In the low team maneuvers, Miami and San Jose State tied for second with 3 1/2 points apiece. Indiana and Delaware rounded out the top five. Behind Dartmouth in the intermediate event were Delaware, Boston University, Michigan State and Miami, and in the high team event, Dartmouth led Miami, California, Delaware and Michigan State.

Rounding out the nine-team event standings were California (40), Boston University (34), Indiana (32), Michigan State (20), San Jose State (7 1/2) and Caltech (seven).

The collegiate team puts on the 2005 Ice Show at Goggin on April 22 and 23, while their senior team counterparts compete in Sweden for the International Skating Union World Championships on the same days.
