Ottawa, Ontario - The Miami University Women's Synchronized Skating Team completed its season tonight at the International Skating Union's World Championships in Ontario by finishing ninth. This marks the fifth time in the last six years the RedHawks have ended the season ranked among the top 10 programs in the world.
The RedHawks, who came into tonight's free skate program in ninth, held on to their top 10 ranking by skating a flawless performance and receiving a combined 18 marks over 5.0 in their artistic and technical scores.
Tonight's performance caps a season in which Miami finished second at the United States National Championships and medalled in every competition, including a bronze at the Neuchatel Cup in Switzerland.
