NEUCHATEL, Switzerland - The Miami University senior synchronized skating team placed third at this weekend's Neuchatel Trophy competition in Switzerland after two clean performances in the short and long programs. The RedHawks finished behind last year's world champions, Team Surprise from Sweden, and Team Berlin from Germany.

The RedHawks placed third in the short program on Friday evening, and skated last in the long program on Saturday night. Receiving all second and third-place ordinals in the long program, the Red and White guaranteed itself the bronze medal at the competition.

Miami skates next in the U.S. National Championships on March 3-9 in Huntsville, Ala.
