FRISCO, Texas - Miami's senior synchronized skating team swept every first place ordinal in their two-and-a-half minute short program on Friday night in the Dallas, Texas, suburb of Frisco at the Midwestern Synchronized Championships.

The RedHawks' routine, which is choreographed to the "chopper chase" scene from the movie The Italian Job, earned the top marks ahead of routines by teams from Western Michigan, the Hockettes (Ann Arbor, Mich.) skating club and the Revolution skating club from Illinois.

Miami continues at the Midwestern Synchronized Championships on Saturday night with its long program.
