KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Miami University collegiate synchronized skating team took part in the Bronco Challenge Cup this weekend in Kalamazoo, Mich. at Western Michigan University. The RedHawks finished second in the synchronized portion of the Cup, but took home the title in the overall competition.
Michigan State skated a clean program and took first overall in the synchronized event. Miami was second, followed by Western Michigan in third. Bowling Green, Michigan, Grand Valley and Northern Michigan rounded out the field.
Combining team and individual events, Miami took home the overall title, finishing with 91 points. Western Michigan placed second with 70 1/2.
