CLEVELAND - For the second week in a row, senior swimmer Emily Nayes (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie) received a weekly honor from the Mid-American Conference. After being named MAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week on Nov. 6, Nayes garnered MAC co-Women's Swimmer of the Week accolades for the week ending Nov. 13.

Nayes helped Miami to a 154-85 defeat of Wright State on Friday, Nov. 9 by winning the 200-yard backstroke (2:10.58) and 400 individual medley (4:31.38), as well as swimming the second leg for the first-place 400 medley relay team (3:39.76). Nayes has yet to lose in the 200 back this year, winning the event in meets against Purdue, Ball State and Northern Illinois and now Wright State.

The RedHawks dive into action Saturday, Nov. 17 at home against Valparaiso and Xavier.
