OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University athletic department has declared this week, Jan. 14-20, "Rivalry Week", as the RedHawk teams will be facing traditional rivals in an exciting slate of home games.

On Tuesday, the men's and women's swimming and diving teams take the rival Cincinnati Bearcats at 6 p.m. at the Nixon Aquatic Center.

The action continues when the Miami women's basketball team takes on Akron on Wednesday at 7 p.m., followed by Men's Basketball versus Kent State on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for each of the three Miami basketball home games.

On Friday, the No. 2 ranked Miami ice hockey squad begins its weekend series with a rematch of the 2007 CCHA playoffs versus Lake Superior State. The puck drops at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, and 7 p.m. on Saturday. A limited number of tickets are available for the hockey series versus the Lakers.

Rivalry week concludes with men's basketball hosting Buffalo on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m.
