Final Stats

The RedHawks battled back from a disqualification in the opening 800-yard freestyle relay event to finish the first day of the Miami Invitational with 72 points, seventh overall in a field of 13. Had Miami not been disqualified, the team would find itself sitting in first place.

MU freshman Sarah Bullock finished in third place in the 1650-yard freestyle event, with a time of 17:10.71. Her finish earned the team 29 points.

Freshman Miranda Kaltenborn and junior Jennifer Flaherty placed in the top-15, taking seventh and eleventh, respectively. Kaltenborn finished the race in 17:20.27, and Flaherty completed the event in 17:30.08. The three women combined for all 72 of the team's points.

The Invitational continues Friday morning and will conclude Saturday evening.
