BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Miami University's women's swimming team got its feet wet Friday, Oct. 19 at the Tom Stubbs Relay in Bowling Green, Ohio, and the 1,500-yard freestyle relay team really made a splash.

In 10 events, the RedHawks had one first-place finish, one second and four thirds at a meet that included Youngstown State, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green, Akron, Oakland and Findlay.

The 1,500 free relay team of sophomore Amy Miranda (Louisville, Kent./Sacred Heart Academy) and freshmen Cara Magee (Wauseon, Ohio/Wauseon) and Michelle Reynolds (Wyoming, Ohio/Wyoming) highlighted Miami's day as it touched the wall in 15:26.91, .83 seconds off Bowling Green's 1992 meet record.
